Day Four: Building Day Two

Shylene prepared all the panels to be ready to mosaic them this week. She cut out the neighbourhood scape and we were ready to start mosaicking it. So we all got started working on neighbourhood panels, all the detail work. Everyone was happy to see the clock parts turned into the wheels for our wheelchairs.

Many of the team worked on finishing up the sunshine pieces, as they still needed much attention.

A few of us nipped up the pieces needed. Many of the details required new colors and special pieces. So we worked together to find what we needed. Everyone looks so stylish in their goggles

The details on the neighbourhood pieces took more concentration and focus. Here Roger and his aid work on a tree in our neighbourhood.

We also took time today to start thinking more about the documentation process for this project. A number of the youth team stepped up to the plate to help put together scrapbooks to help record our journey on this project.

At the end of the workshop the pieces are all really starting to come together. It's very exciting for everyone to see how our design ideas have become art.

A special thanks to the Glengarry staff today, as they not only helped with the residences and the mosaicking, but they stepped up to help with the entire tidy and clean up. Big job.

But many hands make light work. I love a Team.
