Saanich 100th Birthday Party At Pearkes
Gathering Designs & Ideas from The Community

A great afternoon at Pearkes was spent with Jayne and Shylene at the helm.
We met about 35 people who showed interest in the project and we gathered a few new ideas for the project.

I also learned some thing about the history of area. Such as: did you know that Tillicum mall used to be a Drive in Movie Theatre and a swap and shop?
Also the Street Cars used to drive around here too.

It was fun to be part of the 100th birthday party for Saanich. We enjoyed the music and all the yummy treats.

We are all looking forward to the weeks ahead when we will continue to gather ideas and designs for this project.

Our next planning Walkshop is

March 24th 3:30-7pm at Les Pasmore…
